Confusion
People do things for reasons that are unclear;
They lie, cheat and steal knowing you will be hurt.
And after they expect you to stay near.
I don’t understand how he’ll treat her like dirt,
And the next day later she will be his queen.
She’s confused as he then continues to flirt.
Confusion builds to search for what it all means.
Does he really care? Is it all really true?
He changes the subject to avoid a scene.
You didn’t want to believe it but you knew,
You are just another player in his game.
A game where you are always destined to lose.
And after it all he seems to have no shame,
And you know nothing will ever be the same.

This poem was inspired by a personal experience, however it is not necessarrily about it. It's about a girl who gets "played" by a boy. It's called confusion because that's how she feels. Confused. Does the boy really like her like he says she does? Or is he just trying to get with her?
