Woke up as warm as spring sunshine, in the hospital bed
With white flowers by my side…
Growing up with my boyfriend
Expecting red flowers each Valentine’s
In my white wedding dress hesitant to smile at what the priest just said
Throw the bouquet of pink flowers with pride
Now I’m as cold as the winter snow, in the casket bed
With white flowers by my side
