Balance

The girl stands on her tippy-toes and leaps,
across the hard wooden floor on her toes,
she collapses upon the ground and weeps.

A tear runs down her sunken cheek and keeps,
her balance as she stands back to her toes,
the girl stands on her tippy-toes and leaps.

She looks down and notices her bruised feet,
with a scratch down the middle vain and flees,
she collapses upon the ground and weeps.

She takes her hand and brushes all the seeps-
of blood stains on her feet and takes a seat,
she sits on her tippy-toes and can't leap.

The struggles she can't undo as she creeps,
upon the cold ground and she cannot stand,
she collapses upon the ground and weeps.

The girl stands up trying not to look cheap,
in her torn-up leotard that's bland, sadly
the girl stands on her tippy-toes and leaps,
she collapses upon the ground and weeps.

This is a villanelle poem. The imagry is a dancer who keeps falling but she gets up. Overall, this poem demonstartes how live has obstacles.
