That fills a shadow
That makes you alone at night
I creep by at night
Infested in emptiness

I am the pain
That consumes lives
An unexpected jolt

Across your finger

I am the sorrows
that make you cry in the darkness
Caused by the pain
I come but I do not go

I am a smile
That you use to cover up
Your true pain inside
That you don't show
You only just smile

I am the happiness
Always forgotten about
I fill your body
When darkness is gone
When your sorrows are gone
You forget about pain

I am the bond
that makes happiness
that holds people together
that is falsely found
causing pain in everything, But

We are humans
With many faults
with much to learn
But we can be happy
