Should we fear, fear
Someone asked me today what I thought fear meant.
So I started to explain this subject that I'd hardly ever met.
It's the stone rock you get at the pit of your stomach,
when the thought of it scorches in your head.
Like a damp towel sitting there to rot,
molding with time creating negative thoughts.
But we often forget how strong we are,
and that we can face our fears without a doubt.
We can crack open our skull and remove the fear,
Like a doctor removing a tumor inside of me.
Simply by changing the process of our thoughts,
to positive ones that lift our souls up.
Up, Up, Up and away,
to the beautiful life we went meant to portray.
For fear is only a perception of mind,
that we have to delete or get over in time.
So choose wisely the things you wish to fear,
whether it be romance, rogaine, or the reflection in the mirror.
"nothing to fear but fear itself",
said a mocking bird in a novel that I read.
But wait can fear also be a good thing?
Perhaps when your being chased, rushed by adrenaline.
Or maybe you fear that the world is drowning,
in the waves of garbage and pollution, start trying!
For me the biggest thing I fear today,
Is the wicked things happening to the human race.
Talking to people is suddenly a waste of time,
When they can't keep conversations going five minutes at a time.
But I'm still here washing all those thoughts,
smiling at my fears not giving them attention at all.

We shouldn't fear our own fear, but we should fear other peoples actions beacause we cannot change them.
