The Fear
I don't know how to feel anymore
I fear rejection
I fear being forgotten
I fear putting all my faith in someone
Getting trapped in the past like I'm 10ft under
I fear being given up on
Not being good enough
Being a let down
I fear loosing you
I'm being taken immersed by the fear,
that someone might deceive you into heartbreak,
you were never disposed for
I need you
like a child needs their mothers side
In the early hours of night,
when my eyes are struggling to stay open
I contemplate the thought of us
who we are,
where we stand
I come to realization, we've become strangers once more.
If my knock goes unanswered, I understand.
