It was like being trapped inside a snow globe.
No matter how far I ran
or where I would hide,
I couldn't get away.
No matter how fast my feet flew,
they would only race me into the same mess.
The dust strangled me,
his strong hands wrapped around my neck
Grasping me,
Stealing the air out of my lungs.
I could feel the pain from my fingernails,
stabbing the insides of my palms.
While tightening my fights in fear
I could feel the pain everywhere,
Everywhere.
I could feel it in my knees as they buckled
trying to keep me stable
I could feel it in my chest as it shook in and out
while trying to catch my breath
I felt it in my eyes as they twitched and watered
trying to take in the disaster that surrounded me
I felt fear in the blood, as it almost  in slow motion
rolled down my neck
trickled onto my shoulder
danced to my elbow
gracefully flowed down
staying motionless at the end of my finger tip
until it slowly lost its last grip
and dropped onto the cracked and clustered ground
already covered in puddles of dark red
The smell of fear was almost untraceable
hidden by the lingering scent of death
a black coat kept masking my eyes
over and over again
dropping down becoming a heavy curtain over my vision
it wouldnt go away
I couldnt controll it
the mask was my eyelids
heavy falling over my eyes
drowsing back and fourth
I could feel the world spinning in circles
untillI  fell splashing into the deep red puddle
losing my breath to a cover of blood
inline with all the other bodies on the ground
