Little Susie
Susie held a heart.
That heart was made of gold.
Lavished love had spun her heart cold.
Twist, trot, turn,
Little Susie struggled.
No one there to save her,
Even though the pace doubled.
Everyone near new Susie by “irrational”
They didn’t know that Susie,
She was part of the eerie fraction.
The fraction of the fittest, the weakest, the best,
Susie was the leader and led the rest to be blessed.
They’re the beleaguered, the beaten, the bizarre, and the bruised,
Little Susie’s first words were “I’ll be damned if I lose.”
They whispered and the whined, they pleaded and they begged.
Little Susie screamed,” Off with their head!”
They twisted, they turned,
they struggled with voices muffled,
Susie fought the fearfully fearless battle,
leaving the survivors puzzled.
Maybe it was luck and a hint irony,
But Little Susie won the battle,
The one between her and anxiety.
Captivated by the caption of something,
something as simple as 'anxiety',
you realize one thing- and one thing only,
all to blame is society.
Anxiety can kill you,
it can wipe away your soul.
Depression can be worst,
Creating a hell that you call home.
But Susie had had enough,
she threw the golden heart away,
sorrows spun the heart apart,
queuing it for decay.
Colder and colder,
she turned a brilliant hue of blue,
she remained as lifeless as a pen,
and more blue- She grew.
Susie had had enough.
