Too Late Now
They don't know
They'll never know,
Until,
It's too late
She's 6 feet under
In a grave
She can't see who loved her
Now all they see is the blood
All they see is her dead body
Soon to be skeleton
They saw the black roses on her dresser
But would not say anything
They saw the signs
Her pajamas and her cuts
The pill bottle on the counter
But they didn't say anything,
No they didn't want to make it worse on her.
But, they didn't know how many times she got on top of that building.
How many times she thought about jumping.
And everyone who knew doubted her.
Now, it’s too late
They now are going to her funeral
They are all dressed in black, riding in a black hearse, and thinking about her.
Their faces are dressed in tears.
Yes, today they will attend the funeral of the girl who no longer could hold on.
Yes, today they will remember the girl who just wanted out!
