Tardy Again
I try to tell them to hurry
but they walk like they’re in a flurry,
they tell me to chill out
but I might pass out,
they tell me to eat
but I might breech,
if we don’t hurry
it’s not gonna be pretty.
When I enter the room
I stand like a broom,
all eyes on me
like I’m a monkey,
I get really queasy
so I try to make it easy,
I tell a joke
but I feel like I’m going to choke,
I finally got there
without time to spare,
because the bell rang
and I moved on to the next class.
