Run
Run
She ran.
She ran away, For good.
There was nothing left for her.
Nothing to stay for, nothing to want,
Nothing to love.
She was gone.
She ran.
Nothing left, but the family who didn't love her,
The friends she never really had,
The bullying that tore her limb from limb,
The abuse she didn’t need,
The thoughts she couldn’t hide from,
The pain she never wanted.
She was gone.
She ran.
She followed the stars like a compass,
She rode off, chasing the sun, on the never ending road,
while her troubles faded away into nothing.
She drove on the highway to the heavens,
and she never came back.
She was gone.
She ran
No intention of coming back
No desire to be hurt again
No more, no more,
No more.
She was gone, Forever.
