Fireflies

I gaze at the Fireflies of the night,

And ponder what powers their everlasting light;

The power of Love, I think that’s right,

A force so strong they return despite;

No matter how hard the wind had blown,

Or no matter how far you think they’ve flown,

They will always find their way back home,

Because just like us, they fear to be alone;

Just one Firefly can’t light the way,

Love needs two, and so do they;

Now all I need is someone who’ll stay,

To watch the Fireflies in our very own Frey;

Love can’t die, nor weaken, nor fall,

Through good, through bad, through everything and all;

The same Fireflies will return, like it’s meant to befall,

You are mine Forever, and if you recall:

That when it’s the darkest of the night,

As long as you Love me with all of your might,

Our Love will shine an everlasting light,

Just like the eternal flame of the Fireflies tonight.
