This I Believe
It seems, these days the people of our generation tries to blend in with the crowd.
Everyone tries to be normal/regular yet they follow trends of making errors.
WHY?
I have feeling that people of our generation are not interested enough or simply not in a belief of the truth about reality. But lately what I have learned is it's easy to be ignore to be normal, because not everyone accepts people for who they are.
But should that stop us, I mean what if everyone talked the same, listen to the same music, and w***e the same shoes.
Since the fifth grade people ask me why I don't act black or talk black. I never understood it, why should a personality be assigned to a race?
They even called me white girl because I don't talk the same as black kids, listen to the same kind of music or because I love One Direction. Sometimes they laugh with me or at me but I don't seem to know the difference, but that won't change who I am , I'm different and I understand.
And this leads me to what I believe.
I believe in being different.
I believe in standing out.
I Say NO to society's opinion because it has reprogramed our brains and got us thinking if we are not Skinny, Tall, or PERFECT then we are not good enough or worth their time.
But they seem to have forgotten that nobody's perfect.
Yes, we mask our selves with Mac eye shadow, put on our lipstick and buy a new body in order to fit into this madness called our world, in order to be "PERFECT".
I believe instead of striving to be perfect or blending in we should accept our flaws.
I believe people should be more like the girl who takes her birthday cake back to the bakery because they cut Niall's face of the cake. We should be more like a friend of mine who so desperately wants to find the breakthrough to become a vampire.
Some on once told me,
Do not go where the path may lead.
Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail......
