The Glass Palace
This is the very place,oh my!Yeah!
The King's You- Say Hallelujah,
To your skin, clings, cashmeres and silk,
Rose petals, you sleep in, bathed in milk.
Hey, hello? Remember those days?
Tossed in your bed, with a sullen face,
So, you escaped and ran up here,
You ripped down masks and got bare.
You paint in glossy oil, them,
To bring back those, who left as they came,
You hammer down rusty, greasy gates ;
Taunted you, didnt they -your dull fate.
Sharp edged shards of glass in your flesh,
Threw at you, mocking, spitting at you like trash;
Pick at this and pull, pick at that and pull,
Tracking down times, they called you a fool.
Thousand such pieces, collect, collect!
Start the invincible fire, the shards melt,
With them, now build the Glass Palace;
Where you're the Sovereign, The real Ace .
Slouch cockily on your throne of dreams,
See people go crazy to reach your realms,
But the Palace makes them revisit the past and rot;
For the times, they called you: a funny, mad blot.
