There Are No Blurred Lines
There are no blurred lines.
Yes means yes, and no means no.
There are some who will say
that rape happens because of the victim's clothes.
There are some who will blame the victim
for another's awful choice
There will some who will say
"boys will be boys."
But that is not right.
I will not be told
"Don't get raped."
or "don't wear short skirts."
because I'll say, "Don't rape.", "Where is your self control?"
and "where were you when I was fighting for my life?"
my body is not yours to hide.
It is simply not your decision to make.
Rape culture does exist
It is not a myth.
You can find it everywhere.
From rape jokes
to victim blaming, and especially in slut shaming
Don't you dare say
"Rape is the victim's fault."
Sexual assault is still sexual assault.
