In Remembrance: Chicken Nugget
Chicken nugget, oh little chicken nugget!
You sit there on my plate with the only task to satiate my hunger
Dipped in condiments made of honey and mustard.
Oh how my taste buds screams are heard.
Golden shell made from skin and bread.
Oh I can’t get the chicken nugget out of my head.
I pick it up, allowing the grease to cover my fingers
I shove it in my mouth; and how the taste lingers
I look at my plate and am filled with despair
For that chicken nugget was the only one there
