Love Is
Love is a wonderfully awful thing
It can be as sweet as a honeysuckle
Or painful like a bee’s sting
Love has power; it does indeed
It can compel some to drastic matters
It can bring a strong man to his knees
Love is complicated
Unknown feelings emerge from within
You may almost feel intoxicated
Love is patient
It waits for the right one, even if you need a few more tries,
No matter how many hours lent
Love is uncontrollable
You can never force yourself to love
Even if you think you’re able
Love is varied
It is both garish and dull
There are is sundry of relationships, yes indeed
Love is a war
It brings a never-ending internal conflict
Fighting to the core
Love is blind
It blocks you from reality
It clouds the mind
Love is dangerous
You never know what is coming next
One wrong move and you can fall into distress
Love is a wonderfully awful thing
Love can leave you with heartache
Or be as beautiful as a blooming flower in spring
