Her blue bleached eyes looked drained and worn.
A series of sleepless nights and too many thoughts to account for.
Her hand over her brow like a veil concealing her sorrow.
Her disheveled hair, a symptom of her weariness.
Her nails bitten short like worn down sea glass.
A grey life would define her,
if not for her faint blush.
