Ode To The Stage
There’s love and there’s life in general
Life is boring with the occasional ups and downs
Nothing to feel one-of-a-kind
But there is one thing. The stage.
The stage can bring complete joy or utter fear.
To me, the stage makes me feel infinite
I’m the only one there, looking into the lights.
I’m not there for the tutus, the makeup, or the applause.
I’m there because the stage lifts me off my feet and takes my breath away.
And every time I leave the stage, I leave a little piece of my heart there.
The stage can bring complete joy or utter fear. But to me, it make me feel
Infinite. As if I could conquer the whole world.
