One
One
 by Kiki Mackey

 One
 one girl
 depressed
 hopeless
 alone.
 One
 one soul
 filled with
 anguish,
 despair,
 she thought no one cared
 about her.
 One
 one LIFE
 of neglect,
 anxiety,
 pain.
 So much pain
 that it drove her insane.
 One
 one moment
 to think about everything
 her life
 her past
 her family
 her frie-...
 One.
 One thought
 to take that gun
and put it to her head
 One
 one finger
 to pull that trigger
 and
 BOOM!
 One
 one bullet
 she's dead.
 You knew her
 you proably saw her
 everyday
 It took her
 one
 one moment
 to take her life away.
 Suicide.
 All you had to do
 was take
 One
 one moment
 to talk to her
 to tell her
 that she is important
 she has worth
that she could have been someone
 if she had just had
 One
 one more chance
 to live a life
 filled with
 hope
 joy
 acceptance
 But NO!
 she doesn't have that chance
 she doesn't have that life
 and all she needed was
 One
 one person
to save a young girl's life from
 a terrible end
 One
 one person
 to be her
 friend.
 One.
 one friend
 Will you be that friend?
