The Mayflower
The Mayflower, the ship that brought Governor Bradford to Plymouth
He sailed to the new world in 1620
England was persecuting his religion so he fled
Most considered his parents well off, but his father died when he was one years old
As a child he was sickly, so he spent his time reading and becoming smart
Year of 1613 he married Dorothy May
From her he had a son, John, born in 1617
Leaving their son was hard when he came to America
with Dorothy
Of Plymouth Plantation, was his journal
Was governor of Plymouth for thirty years
Everything we know from this time and place came
from his journal, Of Plymouth Plantation
Right up until his death, he was the Governor for the final thirty years of his life
