The Rush
The blur of green, the blur of white
Trying to fight the fears you just can't fight
A heart pounding so hard you can't hear yourself think
The loss of speed and it's in the powder you'll sink
Trunks standing firm at every point and turn
Any mistake and a searing pain you will learn
As stories of tree wells float in you head
All you think is that you'll end up dead
But all you can focus on is the path in front of you
For worrying and worrying is not what you want to do
But all you can say to the danger is hush
Because all we do it for is the adrenaline rush
