The Bully
I see you sulking there,
Waiting patiently in the shadows,
Waiting for the perfect moment
To pounce and capture your prey,
Like a lion on the scorched plains of Africa.
You prey on the helpless to feed
Your starving ego,
And to boast your brute strength
As if you were a primitive caveman—
Terrorizing others for you own selfish benefit.
Every day is a new beat down,
A new one sided contest of strength
That is an uphill battle for a losing army.
But it doesn’t matter if you can
Run faster, jump higher, or reach farther—
For I have more knowledge and logic
Then you will ever attain—
And you are just a simple minded brute.
