You Really Piss Me Off
look at all this f***ery
 this hell that's passed
 from you to me
 you're full of s***
 my horse's bit
that causes my gums to bleed
 the angst you cause
 like lions jaws
that clamp down on my wrist

 your siren song
 was my lullaby
 you sang of stunning
 bright, new skies
 I trusted you
 I fell asleep
 but I awoke to mist
in the midst of the view
 you swore I'd enjoy
 the only thing visible
 was your ploy

 so I wandered
 through the fog
 the sticky heat
 the grimy fog
 eventually I found
 my own sun
 I realized that
 you hadn't won
 you hate me now
 though, I don't see why
 when I left you acted
 quite surprised
 did you think I enjoyed
 bearing the tree?
I was stapled to your cross
 you were the raven
 that tortured me
 but now I've reached
 the dark that's lit
 and I'm so f***ing glad
 you're not part of it
