They say the boogie man lives under your bed
he is in all the childrens heads
they are afraid he is going to take them
kidnap them, then taste them
when they turn off their light
on this Halloween night
they are frozen with fright
not ready to fight
scared to touch the cold clammy floor
not taking there eyes off the door
ready to bolt as fast as they can
to keep away from the scary boogie man
now laying in bed trying to go to sleep
hiding under the covers not making a peep
they uncover there head, and look up from the bed
they see a shadow lurking in the dark
they know it's the boogie man
ready to make his mark
their heart starts pounding
darkness is surrounding
the boogie man chuckles
then the scariness doubles
he let's out his wicked laugh
drops from the ceiling then lands with a crash
he grabs the child
then slides under the bed
the child is screaming with unlawful dread
the parents over hear their child screaming
they run to his room heavily breathing
they slam open the door, and turn on the light
they look at the bed that is empty with fright
they are searching the room scared, and confused
not knowing what to do
they call the cops, and say there son is missing
they can't stop crying and reminiscing
about there son, and the things they use to do
where is he at lord please give us a clue
the parents look down, and what do they see?
a drop of blood as obvious as can be
they get lower, and examine the ground
finally something has just been found
letters of blood big and bold
spelling out THE BOOGIE MAN HAS JUST BEEN CALLED
