your words attack my dreams,
like the devil begging for a soul.
no one knows how much i hurt,
simply because i'm playing a role.
your grief attacks my lungs,
like a fish out of water.
everything hurtful you say that i hear,
feels like i'm being slaughtered.
your negativity affects my sanity,
i think i'm going crazy.
because things like that pull the trigger,
and the days are becoming a little hazy.
your actions attack my heart,
i hope you know i'm not okay.
because my heart is breaking,
and i die a little everyday.
