The sky is bright blue
Sun is big and it shines
Sand seeps into my shoe
As I’m walking down the shore lines

Feeling the rays beam down on me
I love this season more than anything
Looking out into the big open sea,
Feels so nice to finally be resting

No school or worries
It’s nice that there is no snow
These times will make great stories
I never want to go

The breeze blows through my hair
While I sit there on the shore,
Everything just seems so fair,
As put my feet on the soft ocean floor

At that moment it all disappeared
I wasn’t feeling so bad,
And I had nothing to fear
Summer makes me so glad
