A plane took off from Malaysia
And was headed for Beijing,
All 239 passengers
Did not suspect a thing.

Just an hour after takeoff,
All contact with the plane was astray,
It failed to arrive in China,
And all we could do was pray.

A worldwide search had begun
To find the missing jet
Still no evidence to be found,
At least not yet.

They’d searched the seas of China
Thailand and Vietnam in addition,
When suddenly debris was spotted,
Which helped conclude the mission.

Still no plane was found
And as the days and hours passed
The government of Malaysia
Announced the plane had crashed.

There would be no survivors,
No evidence, no anything,
And we will never know what happened
To the flight headed for Beijing.
