Happiness
Starry eyes, hopeless cries of help
Mom walking up to me.
Hearing the most dreadful thing Alive.
Cancer. My sad heart drops.
Hearing it will be resolved soon.
Knowing that it might not.
Talking back. Screaming. Slamming door.
All sad things I regret.
Spending quality time with her,
Only time will fix it.
Happiness is hidden
If only it can be found now
Time is of the essence
My mom CAN get better, like now?
Happiness is the key
But which locked door does it lead to?
Finding it will be hard
POSITIVE. No doubts anymore.
