My Mind Is Ever Fleeing
My mind is ever fleeing
Though I, myself am here.
Lost in far off, distant lands
Where there is less fear.
Where the worst villan
Is something I can fight,
Instead of one who judges me
And fills me with such fright
Where the hero, overcoming all,
Is most definately me
Instead of one always hoping
They will never see.
And all the people,
Friends and foes alike,
I know they won’t leave me
Questioning their spite.
And so I shall continue
Living in this other land,
Where everything is “safer”
Than the one in which I stand.
