I'm Sorry
I'm sorry, for the things I said
The things I did to try to save you
I'm sorry I tried to save your head
In the most regretful way.
I'm sorry I hurt you, like a gun in a cold war
I want to fix the things I said
With a warm mug of coffee, and a nice, peaceful resort.
Though you still have hatrid, for the mistakes I made and will make.
But you found a new best friend,
A drug.
I smell it through the air, through the distance.
Why do you, oh friend, seem so smug?
I'm sorry for our differences, our mistakes.
I want to heal it, to be friends again.
Put the weapons down, and take,
Take, just a small moment, a simple one, again.
Take just one minute, and become friends again.
