Mirror
I make you see everything,
The good and the bad.
And every time you look at me,
Do I make you sad?
I know your darkest secrets,
I know your deepest thoughts,
And every time you cover them up,
You know you've been caught.
Why is it always the same?
Your reaction to what you see.
I have to ask you this,
Is it all because of me?
And every time you walk away,
There are tears wetting your eyes.
Please answer me this time,
Is it because of all your lies?
And you ask yourself everyday,
"Can other people see?
The hurt that they have caused,
What they've done to me?"
But the answer is clear,
And I'm making it clearer.
Because to you,
I'm not just a mirror.
