The Big One
Cool breath taking wind
Leaves crunch with every step
Down the same path taken every day
The birds chirp and flutter their wings
And the squirells hop from tree to tree
The deer is getting his regular breakfast
Crushing the leaves and sipping from the stream
Suddenly the buck feels a sharp pain in his side
He is frightened and runs until he can no more
Dots of blood leaving a trail to follow
With each drop of blood I get closer
Finally laying dow in it final resting place…
The trophy buck
