Oh Teddy bear!
Sitting on the shelf
Lonely
No one is there to pick you up
Those glowing brown eyes
Hands trying to resist grabbing you
Snatching your hands into mine
Claim your mines forever and ever
Never let you out of my sight
Your fluffy brown skin
Tickling my neck
Every time I twist and turn
You’re sitting there on my lower back
Your Louisiana team shirt
Sticks out in purple and gold
You’re an angel of a child’s dream
Never willing to leave out of sight
You’re the tiniest of all
But you sure keep me in wonderful dreams
At night I rock you
Back and forth
Like you is a newborn baby being just born
Now your mine’s forever and ever
No one can ever take that place
Loving you like there’s no tomorrow
How your floppy back keeps my neck up and proud
Proud enough to be with you
Love at first sight when I saw you
Never ever going to be replaced
