As patient as ever
Laid back relaxed
Lost in the soothing breeze
Deep in the cushion on
The squeaky rocking chair
That perfect moment
When the sun sets
And the day cools
Dusk not so close
While day at last is dim
A calming serenity
Brewing in the mist
No room for discouragement
Nor to reminisce
Make harmony last at its brim
Just watch and gaze
As the sun slowly fades
Once the brightest star in the sky
Can’t be seen through the peripherals of your eyes
That’s the greatest feeling in our lives
