Almost
Where the pools are clear, a twilight’s eve
Making one sky into two
One stretching as far as the eye can see
The other framed for you
And the whispers form above
Blanketing the lilies lullaby
The forest going back to sleep
Yawns a content sigh
Where the carpets are thick
And the lanterns few
The silence sings and rings
Echoing back to you
It masques the sound which you long to hear
Round and round you try to see the tings
The places where you can almost make out
The gentle and careless flutter of angel wings
