Late September
The bented “No Parking” sign
located lonely next to the tree
as the wind blows a crumpled receipt.
The pink flowers are shivering
through the cool air
while the closed store’s key hole
is covered up with the fingerprints.
Along the street, a torned plastic
coffee cup cover rests on the ground,
A red straw under the thick tree hides
behind the dead leaves,
and the shadow scrolls down
as I marks my footprints on the rough street.
