i miss you
Devan’s Poem:
We used to push and fight
Like siblings always do, right?
But when I needed you
You always came through
There is nothing I wouldn’t do
To spend another day with you
And seeing you in that hospital bed
You have no idea how many tears I shed
I still can’t believe my big brother is dead
How can I go on
When I feel so alone
I just keep wondering how come
My parents lost their only son
It’s just not right or fair
Seems God just doesn’t care
Oh how can I go on
When I feel so alone
I miss your blue eyes
That kept girls mesmerized
More than anything I miss your lazy grin
I can’t wait till I see it again
And I try to stay strong
To help our parents carry on
I will see you again
My best brother and friend
I’ll keep your memory alive
So Devan, good night
