Not The Same

The aliens are coming! The aliens are coming!
Alien invasion.
Friends on the outside
Monsters on the inside.

Enslaved to farm,
Even choked,
They try to break my faith and hope.
I am a believer.
My gods and ancestors will guide me with a path,
A vision, presented to me in a blast.

Cycling season after season, life became tough.
They came, borrowed, and stole enough.
Starting with the land,
They touched a pen to our hand,
To amendment rights,
By crushing us in battles and fights.

Reservations kept the last of us.
Separated by tribe,
Shoved in a region,
Left to die.
Poor land,
Poor dirt,
Poor brown people with an upside down smirk.

Warriors,
No longer known.
Our original names,
Gone.
Christianity is the new faith,
Including a great-god and angels.

Forever labeled.
Whites vs Native/Brown/American Indians.
An unsettled war prolonged for years,
?Corpses stacked sky high, ?killed, and died in their own fears.
White supremacy,
Forever,
Natives ruling,
Never.
