Night Terrors
After about 12:03, the monsters come out to play.
Blades come out as the monster party begins.
Crying and screaming is all that can be heard.
Darkness takes it’s toll on the young and the bold.
Every monster takes a human slave.
Flaming skin with blood dripping down.
God has turned his back on the ones who let him down.
Hell is where we are going.
Isolated, alone, and scared is what we are.
Just children and ready to die.
“Kill me now!” our eyes seem to beg.
“Let me go!” We scream through our eyes.
Mouthing the words, “Help me, Save me.”
Nothing happened.
Over an hour has passed by, and fresh cuts and dried blood on my hips.
People don’t care, they never do.
“QUIET DOWN!” I hear a person yell.
Remembering it is in my head, I continue.
Stabbing at my sides with a sharp pin.
Talking myself out of suicide, again.
Understanding nothing around me, as my body grew numb.
Visiting my demons is never fun.
Welcoming them into my mind, and allowing them to have full power.
You will never know the true pain I go through each and every night...
