Rainbow Fish
The rainbow fish swims all day
Looking for a safe place to stay
With its colorful scales shining so bright
It’s sure to scare the other fish away
The moon leaves a path of light
So the rainbow fish can swim at night
Dark, big shadows follow closely behind
With nasty, sharp teeth tempted to bite
The rainbow fish finds a tiny dish
And uses it to make a wish
He swims as fast as he can
Because behind him he hears the seaweed swish
Before the rainbow fish knows it, he’s trapped by a man
The man puts the rainbow fish into an underwater van
That’s very tan
And takes the rainbow fish away from where his life began
