Remembered
A big round of applause for Morgan Ramsey for her poem Remembered, it is very true in many ways. People do tend to forget everybody once in a while. They become a shadow, a phantom. In other words, they are a fragment in our memory. In the back of our mind, there is someone whom we cherished or known before, but enough time passes and they just seem to fade away. “I wish that I wasn’t as easily forgotten” We’ve all known people who we forgotten in time, some who were very easy to forget. Till you have a small feeling you know who that is and say ‘Hey I knew this person, used to sit at the back and rarely uttered a word, but I remembered this person was really kind and intelligent.’ We all have that same feeling. Everyone wants to be remembered… I know I do.
