YOLO

I had lived a simple life
The same routine everyday
With no danger such as a knife
And things seemed to be going my way

I was good with everything
Until my middle school
I was once the ruler, the boss, the king
But at Springhill I lost my cool

I dressed real cool
But I stood out like a sore thumb
Until I found one who ruled
And wasn’t at all a bum

He introduced me to my group
And it slowly grew
We had our little troop
Just me and the friends in my crew

But sadly we broke up
But I try to keep in touch
And we meet close-up
But that doesn’t happen as much

Luckily, I found older friends
From before middle school
We all made amends
And I returned to my cool

I still see my friends
And some followed on my search
A friendship that never ends
Will never be a curse

This is a poem about my expirences in middle school. I made this for a project and felt like it was good enough for the world to see
