Body so small and still
Crying for signs of her mom
Waiting patiently to see her again
I fell to amazement
She was beautiful.

Hair so fair and thin
Eyes so light with grace
Feet so small with strength
Hands so small and curved
Her beauty was hypnotizing.

Short months later, it all went away
He took her to Heaven away from me
I hated him for taking her
As I realize he has a plan
Nights I sat up angry and sad.

Realizing I should thank him for her
Thank her for coming
Show my appreciation to them both
Love them with all my heart
But never forget my little angel.

I'm a teen mom who recently lost a child and poetry helped pour my sorrows out. This was inspired by my child's passing and how thankful I am to have spent what short time I could with her.

The bond between a mother and her child is a bond that is the strongest on Earth. We all need a angel to watch over us and you have one and that macks you lucky .I am sorry for your loss the world will never know the love your child could a gave it for the light. But be comforted the idea that she will know no pain.
