Trust
The black flexible oval that a waits on my wrist
Always with me
Wherever I am.
My tresses get mangled and twisted
Pushed and stretched into a tail at the back of my head just like a horses mane.
But, the hair tie will break
I don’t know when
But it will.
I may not have realized but
I put more trust into it than I thought.
How trusting we are
How little we know it
How quickly we move on.
