The water is too dry, I could barely see.
It knocked on the window, almost shattering it.
Wind pushes us down hill, as the car pulls us up.
An easy battle, the car will win.
I step on the gas, making the car jump.
Up the small mountain we go.
Tires burning out on the smooth dirt road.
Whispers of yells in my ear from the wind rushing past me
My moms screaming at me to stay on the right side of the road,
The hard rain hits softer as the car speeds slower.
Small craters in the road filling with water.
Heavy air sweeps us to the left of the road.
A soft crash into a bush.
No damage done, just a broke spirit and lower confidence
Driving in a flash flood
Horror in happiness.
