I Am Privileged

I Am
I am privileged.
I wonder about my future.
I hear people talk about that new sound
I see the change in people who have talent
I am privileged
I pretend that I am in the spotlight
I believe I will be famous one day
I touch hearts and minds with my words
I feel the happiness of others
I worry about the world I grow in
I try not to focus on the negative
I am privileged
I understand what it takes to be famous
I say to others that I will be somebody one day
I dream of a time where the struggle doesn’t exist.
I am privileged.
