Oscar
Today is the day I put him down.
To put him six foot down.
He has been through a lot but has not drowned.
The older he gets the less brown he gets.
He needs a crown.
When he was young, he was a clown.
Today I am going to frown.
He has never been to a pound.
He has been everywhere, even a town.
Oscar is losing his barking sound.
He is still strong, what a great hound.
Now he is underground bound.
He has been around for 19 years.
I wish I didn’t have to put him down, without his thrown.
But I have to put him six foot down.
Today is not a day to act like you have a crazy bone.
But for me today is a day to leave alone.
I have to lose a great part of my home.
Rest in peace Oscar!
