I know that life isn't all so vain
to much discomfort to much pain
I know the world isn't what it seems
but I really don't know what the word friend means
anymore I stare out the window and cry
because on that day I told a white lie
I told my friend that I hated her view
I hated her because she was with you
the reason I did was because of my pain
I had cancer and cancer did wain
it showed me then what little life had to give
so I will die and she will live
I told her that I hated her and I wished shed die
and to this day I always cry
I tell myself that I did what was right
she will live and I will fight
and when I die she will know the end
but the truth is she will always be my friend
