Keep Running
In this abandoned house,
As desolate as your mind,
You fear they'll search inside you,
You fear what they might find.
Running, there's miles around you,
No space where you may hide,
Time's short, they will surround you,
To you, they won't be kind,
Keep running, don't despair,
Don't turn around, they'll see,
Run to escape their judgement,
Keep running to be free,
And if you are too tired,
And the sun has gone,
Don't you dare light a fire,
'Till tomorrow you'll run,
Their hounds are right behind you,
They bark and snarl and growl,
Pray that they won't catch you,
They're masters of the prowl
If you stop they will find you,
They'll find you and surround you,
And then of course they'll bind you,
They'll bring you to their masters,
Drop you on their porch,
And you will not escape again,
They'll make sure that you won't.
